Between all the Newspapers, GM Interviews, TV Analysts, and Scouts, you are dropped into a whirlwind of chaos that can leave you all but prepared to push away from the table until Thursday evening, when all the contemplating will finally be put to rest. Starting from April 29, 2021, 261 young men will hear their names called as they all get to realize their dream day has finally arrived, but their hard work hasn’t started yet. From household names, such as DeVonta Smith (Alabama); Penei Sewell (Oregon); Kyle Pitts (Florida); Trevor Lawrence (Clemson); and Justin Fields (Ohio State), to more unfamiliar and uncelebrated names, in particular Richie Grant (UCF); Chris Garrett (Concordia); Quinn Meinerz (Wisconsin-Whitewater); Bryan Mills (North Carolina Central); and Elerson Smith (Northern Iowa), all of these gifted prospects share one thing in common: a clean slate.
