As teams march towards the end of the season, the NFL released the vote for the Pro Bowl. In no surprise, the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are undefeated led all clubs in total votes received. The Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and Buffalo Bills round out the current top five. During the final two weeks of voting, which is December 1-17, fans will be able to vote directly on Twitter. To cast a twitter vote, fans should tweet the first and last name of the player, the player’s official Twitter handle, or a hashtag including the player’s first and last name. All three of these methods must include the hashtag: #ProBowlVote.
The top 5 vote-getters were all on the offensive side. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Dec. 18. The NFL is the only sports league that combines voting by fans, coaches, and players to determine its All-Star teams. This year’s game will be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league will partner with EA Sports to create a week-long series of matchups featuring celebrities, NFL legends, current players, and streamers playing as the official Pro Bowl rosters in Madden NFL 21.
