The Titans head into the playoffs with a lot of confidence and they feel like they have a chance at beating anyone.
One reason why the Titans are greatly confident going into the playoffs is because of their superstar running back Derek Henry.
Derek Henry hit the record books again today. Henry rushed for over 2,000 yards on the season.
He became the 8th player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season.
Henry entered the game with a league-high 1,777 yards on the season.
He rushed for 250 yards on 34 carries. His performance today allowed him to make history.
Derek Henry is making a case on why he is one of the best running backs in the NFL or in some people’s eyes he is the best overall running back.
Henry also scored two touchdowns on the Texans.
If Derek Henry has a couple of games like this in the playoffs the Titans will be a tough team to beat for anyone.
On the other hand, the Houston Texans had another tough loss on the season. They finished the season (4-12).
The Texans came in the season not knowing how high their ceiling was going to be because of the loss of a couple of key players during the season.
One player in particular DeAndre Hopkins. Who was their best receiver for the Texans throughout his time in Houston?
Despite, not having much team success Deshaun Watson still have a solid year.
Watson threw for 4,823 yards. He also had 33 touchdowns and 7 on the season.
The future is not looking as good for the Texans.
They need to build a team around their forty-million-dollar man Deshaun Watson.
Watson has shown throughout his career that he is a performer, and he is a star in this league.
If the Texans do not do something history will repeat itself, and next year will be another bad season.
Next week, the Titans will be facing the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the playoffs.
The Titans upset the Ravens in the second-round last year. Sending them home packing early which is why the Ravens will be motivated to beat the Titans and get some revenge.
Will history repeat itself or will the Ravens get revenge?
