If you are in the middle of a playoff push, the five players below could benefit your team tremendously for the rest of the season. There’s a good chance that if you do not use your waiver claim on any of these players, they could all five still be available come Wednesday. Either way, they deserve to be rostered on more than half of fantasy teams throughout.

Jakobi Meyers (WR) – New England Patriots (14 percent owned)

Cam Newton Reveals What He Told Jakobi Meyers Before Receiver's Breakout - NESN.com

It looks like there is a strong, and tight, connection between Meyers and Cam Newton. They have been on a roll together lately as Meyers has put up 52.9 total PPR points in the last three weeks combined. He is coming off his best performance of the season, and of his career, last night as he poured in 28.9 fantasy points. The second-year wideout caught 12 of his 14 targets for 169 yards. In the last five years, only two other New England players had topped 150 receiving yards before Meyers did last night (Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski). It was a special night for Meyers, and his career night actually came on his 24th birthday. Wish Meyers a belated happy birthday by submitting a waiver claim for him.

Tua Tagovailoa (QB) – Miami Dolphins (25 percent owned)

Tua Tagovailoa stats: Dolphins rookie QB is rolling in Week 9 - DraftKings Nation

In his young career, Tagovailoa is undefeated as a starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins (2-0). He has actually performed really well, and he is worth picking up to add quarterback depth for your fantasy teams. In week nine, Tua and the mighty Dolphins defeated the Arizona Cardinals 34-31. The rookie sensation went 20 for 28 for 248 yards, two passing touchdowns, and he also rushed for 35 yards (21.42 PPR points). Leading the offense while Miami’s defense keeps dominating their opponents, Tua has the Dolphins now looking like a legitimate playoff team. At the same time, the former Alabama product looks like a legitimate fantasy quarterback for years to come. There are some great quarterbacks that face their bye week here in week 10 (Matt Ryan and Patrick Mahomes). If you need a one-week replacement, Tagovailoa could be your guy. Even if he isn’t a replacement, he could serve as a quality back-up on your team, and an optional spot starter depending on his matchup. This week, he has a favorable matchup against Los Angeles. The Chargers have given up the fourth most fantasy points to Tagovailoa’s position this season.

Jalen Reagor (WR) – Philadelphia Eagles (24 percent owned)

Jalen Reagor is No. 2 in a ranking of the top-15 rookie WR situations

Be sure not to forget about the 21st overall pick in this year’s draft when submitting waiver claims. Reagor has a lot of upside, and now that he is finally healthy, he can showcase his talent. In his first game back from a thumb injury that required a five-week absence, the rookie out of TCU caught three of his six targets for 16 yards and his first NFL touchdown two weeks ago. Reagor easily steps up and starts at the wide receiver position opposite of Travis Fulgham for the time being. Alshon Jeffery is apparently coming back soon, but with all the injuries looming around Philadelphia, it’s hard to say who will stay healthy for the rest of the season. Expect Reagor to avoid any other injuries just because of his youth. A healthy Jalen Reagor could easily become Carson Wentz’ top target the rest of the way.

Austin Hooper (TE) – Cleveland Browns (42 percent owned)

Browns Fans Get Great News on Austin Hooper's Latest Injury Status Heading Ahead of Week 10

Reliable tight ends are very difficult to find in free agency around this time of the year. Although there haven’t been a lot of consistent tight ends this season, Hooper has shown that he deserves to be on fantasy teams and that he can be very reliable. Before missing the last two games, Hooper was on a three-game streak of scoring more than 10 fantasy points. Now returning from an abdomen injury, expect the former Pro Bowler to pick up where he left off. Currently, he is the 25th ranked fantasy tight end based off of total points, but he is averaging the 13th most points per game in the last four weeks. With Odell Beckham Jr. out for the year and David Njoku and playing poorly, expect Hooper to have a huge role this week, and for the rest of the year.

Curtis Samuel (WR) – Carolina Panthers (31 percent owned)

Carolina Panthers WR Curtis Samuel should be started vs. Tampa Bay Bucs | NBC Sports

Yes, the wide receiver position is deep this season when it comes to fantasy football. Yes, Samuel plays the same position as Robby Anderson and D.J. Moore for the Carolina Panthers. Yes, Curtis Samuel should still be picked up from free agency to help your team succeed. He has been on a ROLL as of late. In the last three weeks combined, Samuel has produced 65.5 PPR points. In that stretch, he has averaged the seventh most points per game out of all wide receivers in the league (21.83). Also in that stretch, the fourth-year-pro has caught 19 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 41 yards and two touchdowns. Yet, he is still only rostered in 31 percent of Yahoo leagues. If you lack any talent at your wide receiver position, you must submit a waiver claim for Samuel. He more than likely won’t be available after tomorrow’s waiver claim deadline.
