- Weight: 215
- Position: Running Back
Kendre Miller has the vision, balance, speed, agility, and burst to move the chains and create mis-match one on one opportunities against opposing defenders. The TCU product rushed for 1,399 yards, with 17 touchdowns, while averaging 6.2 yards per carry.
Strengths
Kendre Miller displays vision and athletic ability by first manipulating the defenders eyes by leaning toward the opposite rush lane, and suddenly stabbing his foot toward the correct gap against the defense. Displays vision by finding a small space or gap to rush through when the offensive line is beat with no open lanes. Miller has the speed and moves to gain yardage with spin moves at the point of attack, while out running defenders for more yards. TCU did not use Miller in the passing game a lot. However, he displayed soft hands and ability to extend plays after catch. Displays balance and power upon contact to gain yards after contact by lowering his pads to gain tough yards. When rush lane is to the outside, Miller has the burst to out run defenders on sweeps, toss plays, and screens to the edge of the defense.
Weakness
- Needs to be more physical at times with a 220 pound frame.
- Instead of hitting the gap, Miller tries to use a move to create space at wrong time
Overview
Kendre Miller has the vision, ability, and willing to lower his pads to win match ups with opposing defenses. Fits well in a zone scheme and can be used in the passing game with screens, one on one match ups with linebackers, and routes out the backfield. Has the ability to be a RB1 in the NFL, with his vision, and ability to maneuver and make opponents miss tackles. However, Miller can be utilized in a two back rotation role if needed.
