Dak Prescott new contract is rumored to set the record as the highest paid player in NFL history. This is a prime example of finding your Franchise Quarterback and paying him before the market is reset. When you look at Dak Prescott as a person he has the characteristics of a leader on the field and off the field however, the issue is can he make every throw when the game is on the line. The Cowboys as an organization have done a great job to lock up the core of their offensive line and key playmakers in Running Back Ezekiel Elliot and Wide Receiver Amari Cooper. Then with this year’s draft class they added the top Wide Receiver prospect in CeeDee Lamb and adding great depth to the offensive line after the retirement of their center Travis Fredrick, the Cowboys have enabled themselves to offer a new big deal and still have the right pieces in place to contend.
